# Restore a deleted prompt

> Brings back a deleted prompt, switched off; switch it on with updatePrompt. If its topic was deleted with it, the topic comes back too. Restoring a prompt that is not deleted changes nothing and returns alreadyRestored true. Returns 409 when the same text is tracked again or its topic was deleted on its own, and 404 for a prompt outside this project. The body is optional. Requires the prompts.write scope.
