# Accuracy

> Check what AI answers say about your product against your own site, see which claims contradict it, and fix them.

The **Accuracy** tab of **Insights › Visibility** checks the claims AI answers make about your product against your own site. A claim is a fact an answer states about you: a price, a limit, an integration, a feature you have or lack. DevTune compares each claim with the pages it has crawled on your site and records whether your site agrees.

<Note>Accuracy is available on Pro, Agency and Enterprise plans.</Note>

## What gets checked

Each week, DevTune checks a sample of answers, not every answer: for each prompt and platform, the first answer that week that names your brand. The coverage line under the headline shows how many of the eligible answers were checked, and how many sampled answers are still waiting or couldn't be checked.

Each checked claim ends in one outcome:

| Outcome | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Match your site** | A page on your site states what the claim says |
| **Contradict your site** | A page on your site says something different |
| **Your pages disagree** | One of your pages states the claim and another contradicts it |
| **Not on your site** | DevTune didn't find the claim on your site's pages. It may be missing, or it may be false |
| **Couldn't be judged** | DevTune couldn't reach a confident verdict |

Opinions, claims about other products, and sentences that only list your product among others aren't checked.

## Grouping

AI answers state the same fact in many words. DevTune groups the wordings of one fact, so each fact counts once however it is phrased. In the tables, a row shows one example wording and **and N other wordings** when there are more. Open the row to see every wording.

## Summary and filters

The headline says how many sentences on your site AI answers contradict in the window. Below it, the outcome line splits the facts AI stated about you into each outcome.

Every number on the tab follows the filters at the top:

* **Window:** 30 or 90 days, ending today
* **AI platform:** one platform or all
* **Prompt intent:** one intent or all

## KPIs

* **Facts checked:** the facts AI stated about you in the window
* **Match your site:** the share of those facts your site agrees with
* **Contradict your site:** the sentences on your site that AI answers contradict. **In N AI wordings** below it counts the facts behind them
* **Not on your site:** facts DevTune didn't find on your site

Each KPI shows its change against the previous period of the same length. A fall in contradictions or not-on-site facts shows as good. When the two periods can't be compared, one line says why instead: the previous period wasn't fully checked, or the check changed between the two periods.

## Trend

The chart shows each week in the window: claims that contradict your site as bars on the left axis, and the share of facts that match your site as a line on the right axis. A week with no checked answers shows as **Not checked**.

## By platform

**By platform** lists every platform your project tracks, with its facts, match rate and change, contradictions and not-on-site facts. A claim made on several platforms counts on each, so the rows can add up to more than the totals.

## Contradictions

Each row is a sentence on your site that AI answers contradict. When several facts contradict the same sentence, they share one row, so you see one thing to fix. The columns are **What AI said**, **Your site says**, **Platforms**, **Answers** and **Last seen**.

* **Your site says** shows the sentence and its page, and **Locked** when the page is locked.
* When a blog post or changelog on your site states what the AI said, the claim stays a contradiction and the row names that page. Those pages describe what held when they were written, so they don't count as your site disagreeing with itself.
* **N dismissed** beside a wording count means some of the row's wordings were marked not a contradiction.

Select a row to open it. The panel shows the sentence, its page and when it was crawled, then **What AI said**: every wording, with its answers, platforms and the prompt behind it.

When a contradiction doesn't quote a sentence from your site, it isn't listed, and a note under the table says how many were left out. They still count in the totals.

### Decisions on a contradiction

* **Create action** creates one "Correct what AI says" action for the row, in **Actions**. If an open action already corrects the same sentence, the row joins it instead. While the action is open, the row shows **Action open**. To reverse it, archive the action in **Actions**.
* **Not a contradiction** sits beside each wording in the row's panel. Select it when the AI is right and the check is wrong. It dismisses that wording, and the panel stays open on the row. A row whose wordings are all dismissed leaves the table. While the row has an open action, **Not a contradiction** is disabled: archive the action in **Actions** first.

A dismissal holds while the claim stays a contradiction. If the same fact later meets pages that disagree, it appears under **Site conflicts**.

## Site conflicts

Each row is a claim where your own pages disagree: one states what the AI said and another contradicts it. The same page can disagree with itself, such as one price in one section and another price further down. The columns are **What AI said**, **Your pages say**, **Platforms**, **Answers** and **Last seen**.

### Decisions on a site conflict

Select **Create action**, or the row, to open the panel. Under **Which statement is right?**, choose one:

* **One of the two statements.** Saving creates a "Make these pages agree" action that targets the other page. If an open action for the same two pages already targets that page, the answer joins it; if it targets the other page, finish or archive it before choosing this one. The claim stays in **Site conflicts**, and the row shows **(page) is right**.
* **Both are right. They describe different plans or periods.** This dismisses the conflict and creates no action.

Select **Save** to keep your answer. **Save** stays disabled until you choose.

## Not on your site

Each row is a claim DevTune didn't find on your site's pages. It may be a fact your site doesn't state yet, or it may be false. The columns are **What AI said**, **Platforms**, **Answers**, **Last seen** and **Is this true?**.

### Decisions on a not-on-site claim

Select **True** or **False** on the row, or in its panel.

* **True**, then **Add it to my site**, when the claim is true and your site should say it. It creates an "Add to your site" action.
* **True**, then **No change needed**, when the claim is true but not worth adding to your site, such as a list of competitors that names you. It creates no action.
* **False** when the claim is wrong. It creates a "Correct what AI says" action.

If an open action already covers the claim, your answer joins it instead of creating another. Once answered, the row shows **Marked true** or **Marked false**. Answering doesn't change the claim's outcome: it stays in **Not on your site**.

## Reviewed

Select **Reviewed** beside the tab title, or **N dismissed** or **N answered** beside a table, to open every decision your team has made, newest first. Each item shows the claim, its table, your answer, its action and who decided it when:

* **Action based on this answer:** the decision created the action
* **Added to an open action:** the decision joined an action that was already open
* **No action:** the decision didn't need one
* **No action, the page to change is locked:** see [Locked pages](#locked-pages)

Select **Older** to see earlier decisions.

### Undo

Select **Undo** to reverse a decision. The claim returns to its table, and you can decide again.

* If the decision created its action and nothing else rests on that action, Undo archives it.
* If other decisions rest on the action, it stays open for them.
* If the decision joined an open action, Undo removes it from that action.
* When Undo would archive a live action, it's unavailable and the item says so. A live action is being measured in **Results**, and archiving it would end that measurement. If other decisions still rest on the live action, or the decision only joined it, Undo stays available and leaves the action open.

An undone decision stays in the list with the date it was undone.

A contradiction's **Create action** isn't a decision, so it doesn't appear in **Reviewed**. Archive the action in **Actions** to reverse it.

## Locked pages

Accuracy actions steer around [locked pages](/projects/project-settings#pages-tab), and the tab tells you when they do.

* **Contradictions.** When the contradicted page is locked, the action targets another unlocked page that carries the claim, and the panel names it. When no unlocked page carries the claim, **Create action** is disabled and the panel says no action can be created.
* **Site conflicts.** When the statement you choose means changing a locked page, the choice says it creates no action. Your answer is saved without one, and you update the page yourself.

## Coverage and limits

* **Only crawled pages count.** DevTune checks claims against the pages it has crawled on your site. A page it hasn't crawled can't support or contradict a claim, so a true fact on an uncrawled page shows as not on your site. When your plan's page allowance is full, **Insights › Audit › Crawl coverage** lists pages AI answers cite that DevTune doesn't track. See [Published pages and tracking capacity](/insights-actions/outcomes#published-pages-and-tracking-capacity).
* **Tables are checked too.** A fact an answer states in a table, such as a price or a yes in a comparison grid, is checked like a sentence.
* **Checks run on a sample.** One answer per prompt, platform and week, so a claim that appears only in other answers isn't counted.
* **Windows are 30 or 90 days.** Comparisons use the previous period of the same length.

If the tab shows **No site pages yet**, add your site in **Settings**. If it shows **No checks yet**, results appear once a probe returns an answer that names you and states a fact about you.

## Who can decide

Anyone with access to the project can read Accuracy. Creating actions, answering, dismissing and Undo need permission to manage the project.

## API and MCP

Your own agents and scripts can read the same data, read-only:

* `GET /projects/{projectId}/accuracy` returns the summary over a 30 or 90 day window (`window`), optionally for one platform or intent
* `GET /projects/{projectId}/accuracy/contradictions` lists contradictions once per site sentence, and `GET /projects/{projectId}/accuracy/contradictions/{sentenceKey}` returns one with every wording
* `GET /projects/{projectId}/accuracy/claims` lists claims by outcome, and `GET /projects/{projectId}/accuracy/claims/{groupId}` returns one claim
* `GET /projects/{projectId}/accuracy/decisions` lists your team's decisions

The MCP tools are `devtune_get_accuracy`, `devtune_list_accuracy_contradictions`, `devtune_get_accuracy_contradiction`, `devtune_list_accuracy_claims`, `devtune_get_accuracy_claim` and `devtune_list_accuracy_decisions`. All of them require the `accuracy.read` scope. See the [API overview](/api-reference/overview) and [MCP server](/api-reference/mcp-server).
