DevTune deletes data that has been inactive for a set time. Deletion is permanent: deleted projects and accounts cannot be restored.

What is deleted, and when

Deleting a team account deletes all its projects with it. Members whose login belongs to no other team are deleted too.

Warning emails

Account owners get an email before anything is deleted. Each email names what will be deleted, the date, and how to keep it.
  • Paused projects and team accounts whose paid plan ended: 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before.
  • Team accounts whose trial ended or that never subscribed: 14, 7 and 1 day before.

Keep your data

  • Paused project: open the project’s settings and select Resume project. Resuming needs a free project slot.
  • Team account: open Billing and subscribe to a plan.
Either one cancels the deletion. Signing in does not. If the project is paused again, or the plan ends again, the clock starts from the beginning.

See the deletion date

  • In the app: a banner on the paused project, or across the team account, shows the date and links to the fix.
  • In the API: GET /projects/{projectId}/usage returns deletion.projectDeletesAt and deletion.accountDeletesAt. Each is null when nothing is scheduled.
  • Over MCP: devtune_get_project_usage returns the same deletion field.
